Kamden's 1st Birthday!

This past year has been one of the sweetest of my life. These 2 little ones have given me so much happiness and joy. Don't get me wrong, they can be a handful, but they teach me things I would never have learned otherwise. They have been beautiful little reminders of why we are here on this earth...to learn to love as our Heavenly Father loves. Kamden, with his sweet and easy going personality, has turned 1. He has been an absolute angel. I might be in for a rude awakening when he gets a little older, but for now he is a mother's dream.
THINGS HE LOVES:
-Jaida
-Being wherever Jaida is
-Doing whatever Jaida is doing
-crawling (as fast as he can)
-Laughing
-Playing with balls
-throwing (everything)
-standing
-walking around the furniture
-eating
-drinking
-opening cupboards
-emptying those cupboards
-computer
-pushing buttons
-music
-dancing to that music
-bath time
-Daddy
-smiling
Birthday morning with Daddy
We had a fun birthday party with the some of the family members that were close. Grandma and Grandpa Cook were nice enough to let us invade their home for a few hours so that everyone could fit. Our tiny apartment wasn't going to hold all of us. Family that came from my side; mom and dad, Brittnee and her family, Dayne, and Brennan and his family. From Garret's side; mom and dad, Matt and his family, Jordan, and Aunt Lori were there. We ate hambugers, the men shot Garret's bow, the kids ran around outside, we had cake and ice cream, and then opened presents. Lots of fun!

The 3 little ones: Easton, Sami, and Kamden
These kiddos were patiently waiting for the cake and ice cream...
but THIS little one was not. Notice he already got his little fingers in the frosting. He's SO quick! I didn't even see him do it.
He really didn't want anything to do with the cake. Apparently he doesn't like stuff on his hands. Plus he was super tired and kept rubbing his face.
It tasted good...
but that didn't make up for messy part of it all.
Now he's happy!
He seemed to know it was his special day.

He's usually very good about sharing, but this toy must have been his favorite because he and Easton were fighting over it all night. At one point Kamden wedged himself in between Easton and the toy. Very clever!
I love you, son. I hope you had a great birthday!
